Robert Wickham is the senior partner and heads up the Planning & Valuation Departments.
The practices cover matters throughout the United Kingdom and on occasions abroad as well.
The department is involved in town and village expansion schemes, infrastructure projects and general planning and development of residential and commercial properties. Recently, the practices successfully obtained planning consent for new infrastructure and several hundred homes in Oxfordshire. At the same time, one of the areas of specialism involves listed buildings and sensitive developments in conservation areas and the adaptation of historic buildings. All these projects involve a variety of skills within the group practice involving planning design, economics, and agency. Howard Sharp & Partners has a well known record going back to pre-war years in planning advocacy and the organisation and presentation of cases at Hearings and Enquiries.
Key Qualifications
Robert is a Chartered Town Planner and Charter Surveyor. After graduating from Cambridge, where he held on of twenty Trevelyan scholarships awarded between Oxford and Cambridge he was recommended for a research degree having obtained firsts in several final papers. He continued his interest in land economics at University College London, obtaining a Masters Degree and subsequently was awarded a Doctorate, again within the field of land economics.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and has lectured at universities and for professional organisations. The most recent publications include and IEA paper o the housing crisis and a further paper on the development of integrated communities. Currently, his research is into the application of a discovery theory within the business and spatial economy.
Ian began his career in 1971 with Ibbett Mosely, working mainly in the catchment for Oxted and Westerham, it will probably prove difficult for you to find an Estate Agent who has visited so many of the area's properties.

Alan has been with Ibbett Mosely since 2008; making Partner in 2014. He heads our Fine Art Auctions Department and assists with any property
auctions we hold. Previously Alan worked with Phillips, Bonhams and Hobbs Parker and is widely experienced in all aspects of the auction business.
Jeremy Emmerson is a Chartered Architect holding a 1st class honours degree in architecture from Sheffield University and has a distinguished record in winning design awards. His experience covers practice with Cartwright Pickard Architects and Michael Wilford & Partners.
He has worked on projects including The Royal Fine Art Commission Millennium building of the year and the Jubilee Park Thames Gateway Master Plan. More recently, whilst practising in association with and subsequently as a full partner in the group, Jeremy's projects have included the Highbury Baptist Church, a scheme which was won on appeal with commendations and most significantly the Buckingham Regeneration Project resulting in achieving a National Housing Design Award.
Currently, Jeremy advises on design matters throughout the practices together with his own projects throughout the United Kingdom.
Jonathan Harbottle

Jonathan Harbottle is a Chartered Town Planner and Chartered Surveyor and has had over 25 years of experience of town planning and applied land economics. Jonathan's main interests relate to housing development and in particular producing schemes that are environmentally friendly and community based. Much of his work is spent in community consultations leading up to successful planning applications.
Jonathan has been associated with the practices since 1994 and rapidly became a full partner once he was elected to our professional institutes.
Geraldine began her career in the finance industry, however in 2000 decided a change was in order. Geraldine began work as a secretary within Ibbett Mosely, progressing to Sales Negotiator and then Manager and now Partner in the Otford office. Geraldine has an extensive knowledge of the market in Otford, Kemsing, Shoreham and the Darent Valley.
Mike has many years experience in all aspects of residential agency, successfully managing offices and running his own practice. Mike is the Residential Partner at Sevenoaks whilst also covering the Borough Green office, having worked in both areas for a number of years.

Heather joined Ibbett Mosely in 2019 as the Accounts Manager having gained a number of years experience in her field working across a variety of industries, and enjoying the challenge of taking on a larger role within the company looking after the HR and Office Management across 7 offices. Heather is currently studying for the ACCA professional qualification to further herself in her abilities and career.
Kelly is our Residential Property Manager, joining the company in 2017 with a wealth of knowledge and experience gained over a number of years within this sector.
A qualified member of ARLA PropertyMark, Kelly is on hand to offer advice on all aspects of Lettings and Property Management to landlords and tenants alike.
Gregory has over 30 years of working in the property sector, successfully managing residential sales branches in North Kent; prior to which he was an Independent Financial Advisor. Gregory has lived and worked in the area throughout his career and now looks after Borough Green office with a strong team around him. As always, they look to provide a high level of service and advice to clients to ensure the best outcomes in their property sales relieving the stress of the move where they can.
